Hi all!

The 2025 [AIA Seattle Climate Summit](https://aiaseattle.org/event/2025climatesummit/) is in a few weeks with a theme of Fostering our Ecosystems: Co-existence and Climate Resiliency. While embodied carbon is not the central focus of the forum, I highly encourage folks to check out the speaker line up and join us for a day of focusing on the interconnected and complex relationships between the built environment, us, and natural systems, and how we can (and are!) designing to rewild, support ecosystem services, build climate resiliency, and more harmoniously coexist with both our human community and the natural world.

Highlights include a keynote from Julia Watson on Design by Radical Indigenism, as well as case studies in building for ecology from Hyphae Design Laboratory, COOKFOX, and Mithun.

We hope you’ll join us!
