# What's the difference: FSC vs PEFC?

Any thoughts on these two certifications? Is one more effective than the other from a carbon or ‘climate-smart forestry’ standpoint? I understand that PEFC focuses more on supply chain, so potentially more comprehensive from a lifecycle carbon perspective? Thanks!
