Greetings, The Bay Area Deconstruction Workgroup meets quarterly to share information about deconstruction and material reuse toward policy development. At our May 06, 2020 meeting, Stephanie Phillips with the city of San Antonio, Texas, did a fantastic presentation on deconstruction and its linkages to historic preservation, community, economic opportunity, and resilience. Following that, we had a popcorn-style discussion led by a number of businesses (deconstruction contractors, salvage yards, etc) about impacts of the pandemic on their work.
