It’s so important to get on the right footing early in the construction process. A simple email can go a long way, and I think the more we share with each other the better our resources will become.
So in that spirit, I’ve drafted up an intro letter I’ve started to use on projects. Very keen to get feedback–especially from suppliers! Feel free to comment and we can refine and improve!
This includes a public EC3 model that I think would be useful to folks to see what EPD data is available for their project as well as the suppliers developing thos EPDs! You can easily copy and make your own for your project.
Boston/Northeast just put out this report identifying different challenges and approaches forward for low carbon concrete. To your original question, it gets into some who’s and how’s of having the conversation, as well as what issues have come up.
