Whole Building LCA
I have 2 questions related to whole building LCA:

what is a software to do whole building LCA (in all countries) for free? is there one? we are currently using oneclick LCA, it is a perfect software, quick, has a localization method for emissions, yet, it is not for free… Any suggestions (specially if doing LCA in regions lacking LCA data, for example Africa and the Middle East)

For Buildings LCA (specially in LEED), when comparing between design (for example wood, vs concrete), the “U” vlaue of hte building envelope has to be the same, correct? (to make sure the operational energy is the same). The selection of U value can be from ASHRAE or from any energy modeling software. Any recommendtation regarding this? LEED is not clear in this part…But I saw already the work of “Athena Institute” and they did a great work in it…The software used in oneclick LCA also
