I’m interested to hear your thoughts on best practice for capturing curtain wall emissions. What EPDs do you typically use?
Antidotally I’ve heard that some architects request design-specific EPDs from the curtain wall manufacturer. Other options could include a combination of glazing and framing EPDs, or selecting the best available curtain wall system EPD. I’m very interested to get additional perspectives as there are limited EPDs publicly available and curtain wall impacts can make up a substantial portion of A1-A3 emissions.
