Any opinions on estimations of metal stud weight in Tally versus EC3’s stud wall calculator? We’re getting different values with the same inputs. Looking at doing a deeper dive, but thought I’d poll this group first!
@clairem there is some small difference expected since each tool currently has different sources for the lookup table values. E.g., I found about 10% difference in the lbs/ft values for equivalent stud profiles for a few select ones that I’ve looked at. We will sync the lookup tables across the tools going forward. Please reach out to me if you find other differences and we can troubleshoot on our end.
