The BuildingEase (not-waste) Xchange is live!!
The BE-Xchange is a completely free resource to help eliminate C&D waste from landfill and recirculate goods within campuses or school districts!
You can post your leftover job-site materials on the Xchange and choose who you want to post to. You can:
• Publish to the general public
• Publish to nonprofits only
• Publish within your organization only (to redistribute goods within a campus, for example)
• Publish to take-back
(meaning if you have a quantity too small for take-back programs, you can aggregate with others who have the same issue and meet the quantity threshold!)
Owners and designers can find salvage materials there.
You can find a listing of resources there (and add more!)
If you are a service provider (demo, salvage, etc) you can list your services there (free now, for a small fee later! nonprofits always post services for free).
Chicago is the first city to post sink/water heater/ceiling & carpet tile from a TI demo - who will be next?!!!
