California Air Resources Board (CARB) posts EC jobs!

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is currently building a new team to work on developing and then implementing a framework to reduce #embodiedcarbon emissions for buildings and building materials. As part of this work, CARB will evaluate a range of policy options, including an embodied carbon trading system as authorized by AB 43, Holden. Candidates selected for these new positions will help develop a groundbreaking GHG emissions reduction program, the first of its kind in North America.

California’s built environment impacts everything from manufacturing to travel behavior and the kinds of energy systems we use for heating and cooling. That makes this one of the most interesting and exciting decarbonization opportunities at CARB in quite a while!
