Does anyone have any data on porcelain vs natural stone tile? When I dig around, I find natural stone tile companies promoting themselves as a low carbon alternative, but I can’t seem to find any hard data. The logic is that both tile have large impacts form material extraction, but that porcelain suffers from additional firing, which is understandable, but it would be good to have some real life examples.
