GWP conversion to kgCO2e / 1 lbs

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting here, so apologies if this topic has already been discussed.

I’m struggling with how the Global Warming Potential on EPDs are converted to kgCO2e per 1 pound. The environmental product declarations located on buildingtransparency.org show LCA results in metric ton or short ton CO2e. But the units on the website are per 1 pound, and I’m having a hard time verifying the conversion. Is there a specific formula I should be using?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Tony, in your EC3 preferences you can set your units to Imperial / English / Nonsense - whatever they use in Myanmar and Liberia, or of course you can set it to SI.

As for the conversion it should be a straight conversion from kg to lb, i.e., 1 kg = 2.2 lb, 1 lb = 0.45 kg. So if there are 3 kgCO2e / lb, there will be 6.6 kgCO2e / kg.
