I just had the opportunity to look into this and some exciting points. This funding is open to individuals, companies as well as NGOs/academics/federal agencies. Of particular note to the Architects, Engineers and Builders here, note that there is funding for BUILDING DESIGN and extra funding for small businesses. This might be a great way to get funded to do the development work to demonstrate how to integrate novel carbon storing materials into buildings! The concept paper due Dec 20th is a relatively low bar to see if your ideas are worth developing into a longer proposal.

It can be difficult to navigate the site. Go here for the general information: https://arpa-e-foa.energy.gov/Default.aspx#FoaId2eb35c87-8596-4c1d-950b-6010ae6f38ce
